Probiotics and infectious diseases
Keywords:probiotics, infectious diseases, review
AbstractThe article deals with the use of probiotics in the practice of infectious diseases. Information is presented on the mechanisms of probiotic action, namely, on strengthening the epithelial barrier, inhibition of adhesion of pathogenic microorganisms, competitive suppression of the growth of pathogenic microorganisms, production of antibacterial substances and modulation of the immune response.
